Lait

Lait is a language invented by me. I have worked on it since 1999, but it is progressing quite slowly. At the moment the grammar is in fairly good shape, but I need a lot of more words into the vocabulary.

Example sentences:

Arra irnait ía Mošee, þen Andada
1 solnedan Latsiíe andava sinalee aš leflee.
2 lef lanva ereg aš pulha, taifa almava oomanilee, aš Latsiíena onila ilinva sindan u šalini.
3 Latsiíe nehava: ”fen lansa”, aš fen altava.
4 Latsiíe arava, nia fen lanva menna. Latsiíe toilava fellee taifae
5 aš tilidava fellee natíee aš taifalee tainíee. ovha rohava, oros rohava, arra naty.

The First Book of Moses, or Genesis
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
